The holiday season is always a special time for creativity and celebration, and this year, our Govee Glow setup truly shone. After four years of participating in the Brushy Creek Christmas Drive Thru, my wife and I decided to take it to the next level. This year, we brought out over 50 strands of traditional Christmas lights and an impressive 40 Govee devices, spread across two complete campsites. The result? A breathtaking display that earned us the title of Best Overall Campsite! 
The setup was no small feat. We powered everything using 2 duplex receptacles, 20+ extension cords, 3 surge protectors, and 12 multi-plugs. The challenge was to ensure every device was properly connected and functioning, especially with the mix of traditional lights and Govee’s innovative LED solutions. The Govee devices, with their vibrant colors and programmable features, added a dynamic element to our display that truly set it apart.
One of the key lessons we learned this year was the importance of thorough planning and testing. We spent over 42 hours over three days setting up, troubleshooting, and fine-tuning every detail. It was a labor of love, and seeing the smiles on the faces of the hundreds of families who drove through made every moment worthwhile.
