Plus, the installation process was straightforward, which was a huge plus for me as a DIY enthusiast.
One of the standout features for me has been the app connectivity. The Govee app offers so much customization, from adjusting colors and brightness to setting up different lighting effects. It’s amazing how much control I have over the lighting setup now. However, I did notice that the adhesive backing wasn’t as strong as I hoped, but luckily, Govee included some cord clips with 3M tape to help with that issue.
I was initially a bit disappointed with the color separation of the gradient, but after playing around with it, I found that increasing the brightness made a significant difference. It’s now much smoother, and I love how it enhances the overall look of my space. While the price might be a bit higher compared to other LED rope lights, the quality and features definitely justify it.
Overall, I’m really happy with the Govee H61E5. It’s bright, customizable, and durable, making it a great choice for anyone looking to elevate their home lighting setup. I’d give it a solid 4 out of 5 stars, mostly because of the adhesive issue and the lack of some advanced DIY features I was hoping for. But hey, it’s still a fantastic product!
