Hey everyone! I wanted to share my experience with integrating Govee devices into my smart home setup. I’ve been using Govee’s H7131 heaters and their DreamView projectors, and they’ve been a fantastic addition to my space. However, I did run into an issue where two of my heaters were running on outdated firmware. After some research, I found that manually triggering a firmware update wasn’t straightforward. I ended up resetting the devices and ensuring they were connected to the internet, which eventually prompted the update. It’s a bit of a hassle, but worth it for the improved performance!
On another note, I’ve been experimenting with the Govee DreamView projectors for movie nights. Pairing them with neon rope lights and a smart dimmer has created an amazing cinematic experience. The colors pop, and the immersive lighting really sets the mood. I’d love to hear how others are using Govee products in creative ways!
