Govee LED Controller Extension & RGBIC Light Experience

I’ve been really enjoying setting up my smart home with Govee LED strips and controllers. One thing I wanted to share is a tip that might be helpful for others. I recently found that the cable length on my Govee LED strip controller was too short for my DIY installation. After a bit of research, I ordered an extension cable from AliExpress, and it worked perfectly! It’s much cleaner and more aesthetic than using bulky power strips, and it was a very affordable solution. I’m really happy with how it turned out and would recommend this to anyone facing the same issue.

Another thing I wanted to mention is about my RGBIC lights. I recently got some with a remote, and while they’re great, they emit a high-pitched whistling noise in quiet environments. It’s a bit annoying, but I’m hoping there’s a fix out there. If anyone has any tips or solutions, I’d really appreciate hearing about them!

Overall, I’m really impressed with how much smarter my home has become with these devices. It’s been a fun and rewarding project, and I’m excited to see what other improvements I can make. Thanks to everyone in the community for sharing their experiences and tips—it’s been a huge help!

If anyone has questions or wants to share their own smart home experiences, feel free to drop by! I’d love to hear what others are doing to enhance their homes.
