Hey everyone, I wanted to share my experience with the Govee LED strip brightness issue I encountered recently. I’ve been using these strips for a while now, and they’ve been a fantastic addition to my home setup. However, I noticed that when I connected them to my new Hubitat C7, the brightness dropped significantly compared to when they were connected directly to my Hue hub. This was a bit puzzling, as I expected the same performance across different hubs.
After some research and troubleshooting, I discovered that the issue might be related to how different hubs handle brightness levels. I decided to dive deeper and found that adjusting the brightness settings within the Hubitat app made a huge difference. By manually setting the brightness to 100% within the app, the LED strips finally reached their full potential. It was a bit of a trial and error process, but it paid off!
I also reached out to the Govee community and found that others had similar experiences. It seems like a common adjustment needed when integrating Govee products with new hubs.
