I have been absolutely thrilled with my Govee light bulbs! They have completely transformed my home lighting experience. The vibrant colors and smooth dimming capabilities are simply amazing. However, I have encountered an interesting issue regarding power loss recovery that I would like to discuss with the community.
After experiencing a complete power outage, my Govee bulbs consistently revert to their default state of white light at 100% brightness, regardless of their previous settings. This behavior is inconsistent with other smart bulbs I have used, which maintain their last state after a power interruption. I have checked the app settings and ensured my bulbs are up to date, but the issue persists. Interestingly, some users report that their Govee bulbs do maintain their previous state after power outages, which is puzzling given that we are using the same bulbs and software versions.
I would love to hear from other Govee users about their experiences. Have you encountered similar behavior? How have you addressed it? I am curious to understand why there seems to be a variation in how these bulbs handle power loss recovery. Your insights would be invaluable!
Thank you all for your help and for being part of such a supportive community. Let’s continue to explore and optimize our smart home setups together!
