I’ve been really enjoying my Govee RGBIC LED Neon Rope Light (H61A0) for home decoration. The setup was straightforward—planning the design, installing the brackets, and connecting to Wi-Fi. The 252 individual lights in 15 segments provide excellent customization, and the ability to control them via Google Assistant and Alexa is a huge plus!
However, I’ve noticed that the green color setting doesn’t quite hit the mark for my taste. It leans more toward a blue-green shade, which isn’t what I was hoping for. I’d love to see Govee offer a more vibrant green option in future products!
On another note, I’ve been experimenting with integrating my Govee lights with other smart home devices. For instance, I’ve set up a routine where the lights change to a warm orange hue during movie nights. It creates such a cozy atmosphere! If anyone has tips on how to sync Govee lights with other brands or services, I’d love to hear them.
Lastly, I wanted to share a quick tip for anyone struggling with smart plug scheduling, like the Wyze plug. I’ve found that manually resetting the schedule every few days helps maintain consistency. It’s not a perfect solution, but it works for now!
Overall, my experience with Govee and smart home integration has been mostly positive, and I’m excited to explore more possibilities in the future.
