Hey everyone, I just wanted to share my recent project with the Govee strip lights in my basement. It’s been a game-changer! The colors and brightness are just amazing, and I’ve been experimenting with different scenes to set the mood. However, I noticed that some color transitions are a bit jumpy, like in the ‘Ripple’ scene. Has anyone else experienced this, or is there a way to smooth it out? I’ve also been diving into automations, trying to integrate my Spotify accounts so each family member can control their own playlists through Home Assistant. It’s a bit tricky, but I’m determined to figure it out. If anyone has successfully set something like this up, I’d love to hear your tips!Another thing I’m curious about is the Homey delay functionality. I’ve been using it to stagger my Hue lights for a nicer wake-up experience, but I’m not sure how it behaves if the trigger changes before the delay completes. Does it reset, or does it keep counting down? I’d appreciate any insights on this.Lastly, I’m really excited about the new Govee outdoor string bulbs preorder! The possibilities for holiday decorations are endless. I can’t wait to see how they perform in different weather conditions. If anyone has tips on improving light smoothness, Spotify integration, or Homey delays, please share! I’m all ears and would love to learn from your experiences. Happy automating everyone! ![]()
