I’ve been really impressed with Govee lights for their vibrant colors and brightness. They’re perfect for creating a cozy atmosphere in the evening, especially when watching Netflix or gaming. I love how they can be dimmed to set the mood without losing their vibrant hues. If you haven’t tried them yet, I highly recommend checking them out!
On the topic of smart home automation, I’ve been experimenting with grouping my living room lights under a single switch. It’s been a bit of a learning curve, but I found a budget-friendly solution under $70 that works seamlessly with my setup. The ability to control multiple lights with just one button has transformed my daily routine, making it so much more convenient.
Another thing I’ve been exploring is using Alexa routines to play music without any verbal confirmation. It’s a small tweak, but it enhances the experience by eliminating unnecessary audio feedback. I’d love to hear if others have found similar solutions or have tips to share!
Lastly, I wanted to mention the Wyze V3 cameras. They’re fantastic, but I’ve noticed an issue with spider webs interfering with the IR illuminator. It’s a minor inconvenience, but I’d love to see a future update where the IR illuminator is positioned further away from the lens to prevent this issue. In the meantime, I’ve been using adhesive repellent patches to keep the area clear.
