Govee Lights and Smart Camera Setup Success

I’ve been really enjoying my Govee lights on the roof lattice! :star2: It’s been a fun project to make our new place feel more like home. The lights add such a warm and festive touch, especially as the days get shorter. I’ve been experimenting with different color settings and schedules to match the mood of each season. The integration with my smart home system has been seamless, and I love how I can control everything from my phone. :iphone: Speaking of smart home integration, I’ve been working on setting up my Linksys cameras with Vera. I’ve got four of them now monitoring different areas of the house, and it’s so reassuring to have that extra security. However, I’m wondering if I should set them up with fixed IPs to avoid any connectivity issues if my network goes down. Has anyone else dealt with this? Another thing I’ve been tinkering with is using temperature sensors to control LED colors. I’d love to set it up so that the lights change based on the room temperature—green for cool, yellow for moderate, and red for warm. It would be a cool visual indicator of the room’s climate. Any tips on how to make this automation smoother? :thermometer: Oh, and just wanted to share that I’ve been having a blast with my new Wyze Cam Sense. It’s been a great addition to keeping an eye on things from afar. The battery life is fantastic, and the app integration with my other smart devices is spot on. :package: All in all, it’s been a productive week of tweaking and improving my smart home setup. I’m excited to see what other projects I can tackle next! :rocket:
