Hi everyone! I wanted to share some of my experiences with setting up my smart home, specifically with Govee lights and Wyze cameras. First off, the Govee lights have been a game-changer for my home decor. Their RGBIC strips are so vibrant and customizable, and the app makes it easy to create different scenes for different moods. I’ve even set up some automation where the lights change based on the time of day or when I open the curtains. It’s like having a personal lighting assistant!Now, onto the Wyze cameras. I’ve been using them for a while now, and they’ve been pretty reliable. But I recently figured out a cool way to mount one inside a trellis at my front door. I was worried about damaging the wall, so I used butyl sealing tape. It’s super sticky and worked perfectly without leaving any residue. Plus, it’s weatherproof, which is great for outdoor use. I even wrapped the cable under the camera to keep it secure.
