Govee Lights Setup with 3-Way Switch: Seeking Help

Hey everyone, I’m really excited to dive into the world of smart lighting with my new Govee ceiling lights! I’ve been using traditional lighting for so long, and now I want to take it to the next level. However, I’m running into a bit of a snag, and I’d love some advice from the community.

So, here’s the setup: I have a couple of Govee lights that are ceiling-mounted, and they’re controlled by a 3-way switch. I’ve heard that these lights are supposed to be really customizable, which is exactly what I’m looking for. My goal is to set it up so that when I turn the lights on, they come back to the exact color I last chose. It sounds simple, but I can’t seem to find the right setting or feature to make this happen. I’ve gone through the app, checked the settings, and even did a quick search online, but nothing’s standing out to me.

I’ve tried a few things, like manually selecting the color each time and using some of the preset modes, but it’s not the seamless experience I was hoping for. I really want this to be automatic so that every time I flip the switch, the lights are just as I left them. I’m sure I’m missing something obvious, but I could really use a nudge in the right direction.

Has anyone else successfully set up their Govee lights with a 3-way switch? Any tips or tricks you can share would be incredibly helpful. I’m also curious if there are any specific settings or workarounds that I might not have discovered yet. I’m really looking forward to getting this sorted out and enjoying the full potential of my new smart lights!

Thanks in advance for your help and insights. I can’t wait to hear from you all!
