Hi everyone, I wanted to share my experience with Govee products and some ideas for future improvements. I’ve been using Govee’s smart lighting and sensors for a while now, and I must say, they’ve been a fantastic addition to my smart home setup. The reliability and user-friendly design are truly commendable. However, I think there’s room for even more innovation!
One feature I’d love to see is a dedicated Actions Tab within the Govee app. This tab could allow users to create customized buttons that trigger multiple device actions at once. For example, imagine having a single button that turns on all your holiday lights in a rainbow pattern or dims all the lights in your house simultaneously. This would make creating dynamic scenes even easier and more intuitive!
Another suggestion is for Govee to consider adding a Smart Lock to their lineup. I’ve been using a third-party lock for years, but it would be amazing to have everything under one app. A Govee smart lock with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi support, along with features like fingerprint unlock, keypad access, and temporary codes, would be a game-changer!
On the topic of cameras, I’ve noticed that the video feed sometimes struggles to go fullscreen when my phone is in portrait mode. This is a minor inconvenience, but it would be great if Govee could address it in a future update. Overall, I’m really happy with Govee’s products and can’t wait to see what they come up with next!
