I’ve been really enjoying my Govee products, especially the smart lights and home automation devices. They’ve added so much convenience and fun to my daily life! However, I did run into a couple of issues that I thought I’d share in case others are experiencing the same.
First, my Blink Video Doorbell has been a bit inconsistent with video recording. One day it captures every event perfectly, and the next day, it might only save a couple of clips even when I know there were more activities. I’ve reached out to their support, and they mentioned it could be related to storage or settings. I’ll keep you updated on that!
Another thing I wanted to mention is the recording light on my Blink Outdoor camera. I disabled it through the app, but it still comes on when I walk by. It’s a bit annoying, but I’ve found that keeping the camera at least 10 feet away from my usual paths helps minimize the issue. I’m hoping Govee will sort this out in a future update.
On a more positive note, I recently participated in the Govee Potter Glow event and had a blast creating my entry. Even though I only have one light, I managed to make it work, and it turned out pretty cool! It’s amazing how these little devices can transform a space.
