I recently stumbled upon the Govee community and I must say, I’m thoroughly impressed with the product lineup! The LED bulbs and smart plugs have completely transformed my home setup. However, as a user, I have a few suggestions that could potentially enhance the product offerings and user experience.
One feature I’ve been longing for is location-based triggers for my smart devices. Imagine being able to set up routines based on where my phone is—like turning on the lights when I walk into the living room or adjusting the thermostat as I enter the bedroom. This could add a whole new level of convenience to daily life.
Another idea I’ve been tossing around is the addition of an in-app notifications history tab. I often miss important alerts when my phone is locked, and having a place to review past notifications would be incredibly helpful. It would ensure I never miss out on any crucial updates or events.
For those of us who love tinkering with smart devices, a customizable alternate mode for sensors and switches would be a game-changer. Sometimes, simply turning something off isn’t enough—I’d love the ability to set specific actions for devices like air purifiers or fans.
Lastly, I’d love to see delayed actions integrated into the tap-to-run feature. It would allow for more precise control over devices and add a layer of flexibility to daily routines.
