Hey everyone! I’ve recently set up my Govee RGB strip, and I wanted to share some tips and tricks I’ve discovered along the way. First off, the installation process was pretty straightforward. I used the adhesive strips to mount the strip along my ceiling, and it looks great! The colors are vibrant, and the dimming feature works smoothly.
One thing I struggled with initially was getting the app to save my custom designs. I often forget to save before answering a message or taking a call, and it’s frustrating when I lose my progress. I hope they fix this issue soon!
For automation, I’ve created a few scenes using the Govee app. My favorite is a gradual color transition from warm whites to cool blues as I wind down for bed. It creates such a calming atmosphere! I also set up a routine where the lights pulse in red and blue during movie nights—it really enhances the cinematic experience.
