I’m super excited to share that my first Govee order is finally on its way! 
I’ve been eyeing their RGBIC wall stripe for ages, and now it’s almost here. I can’t wait to see how it transforms my space with its vibrant colors and customizable settings. The Govee app integration is a huge plus, and I’m already brainstorming all the cool ways to use it for different moods and occasions. 
For anyone else thinking about adding some smart lighting to their home, here are a few tips I’ve picked up along the way:
- Location, Location, Location: Find a spot where the light can make the biggest impact—like above a bed, behind a TV, or along a feature wall.
- Color Temperature Balance: If you’re into warm and cool tones, consider layering different strips or using a controller that allows you to switch between them.
- Integration is Key: Make sure your hub or app supports the smart features you want. The Govee app has been a lifesaver for me with its easy-to-use interface and customization options.
- Plan for Power: Double-check the length of your strip and the power requirements to avoid any surprises. I’ve heard great things about the FLS-PP ballast for reliable performance.
