Hey everyone! I wanted to share my recent experience with the Govee RGBWW recessed downlights (H601A). After some initial hiccups, I’m thrilled with how they’ve transformed my space!

I purchased a set of these lights, and while the first batch had some minor issues, the replacement set worked perfectly. The color customization and brightness levels are amazing, and I love how they integrate with my smart home setup. I even built a custom housing to install them without cutting a bigger hole in my ceiling—definitely a DIY win! 
Automation Tip:
I’ve been using these lights with my door/window sensors to create a seamless entry experience. When I open the front door, the lights automatically switch to a warm, welcoming tone. It’s a subtle touch that makes coming home feel special. Plus, I’ve set it up so that if the backyard door opens within 60 seconds, it switches to a brighter setting—perfect for security without being too intrusive.
