I recently had the pleasure of testing out the new Govee 4" RGBWW Recessed Downlight, and I must say, it’s been a game-changer for my home lighting setup!
After successfully integrating these lights into my existing Govee ecosystem, I wanted to share my experience and a little challenge I encountered along the way.
Installation and Initial Impressions
Installing these downlights was a breeze, and the color accuracy and brightness are simply stunning. The RGBWW feature allows for a wide range of color temperatures, making it perfect for different moods and settings throughout the day. I’ve been using Govee products for a while now, and this new addition definitely raises the bar!
Automation Challenge
However, I ran into a bit of a snag when trying to set up automated routines for these lights. I wanted to create a seamless transition from daylight to evening lighting, adjusting both the brightness and color temperature throughout the day. While Govee’s app offers a lot of customization, I’m struggling to find the perfect balance for smooth transitions. Any tips or tricks from the community would be greatly appreciated! ![]()
