I’ve been really enjoying my Govee Window/Door and Button Sensors! 
After some initial battery issues, they’ve been performing flawlessly. The button sensor is a great addition for controlling multiple devices at once, especially when I need to light up the backyard for my dogs’ late-night walks. I’ve set it up to switch between colored scenes and white lights for better visibility. For those looking to integrate smart lighting, I’d recommend starting with a reliable hub like Home Assistant. It’s been a breeze setting up routines and automations, especially with the help of Node-RED. I’ve managed to simplify my flows by using state checks and triggers, which has made my kitchen lighting system much more efficient. If you’re new to this, don’t be afraid to experiment with different sensors and switches. The learning curve is worth it once you see how seamlessly everything can work together. Happy smartifying!
