I’ve been absolutely thrilled with my Govee smart bulbs—they’re bright, colorful, and incredibly easy to set up. I’ve been using them for almost a year now, and they’ve added so much convenience and fun to my home. However, recently I encountered a peculiar issue that’s been puzzling me.
One set of bulbs, which I’ve had installed all along, suddenly started showing red lights. I uninstalled and reinstalled them, but the problem persisted. To make matters more confusing, when I tried setting up another set, the same issue occurred—the first two lights turned red instead of the expected white. Calibration isn’t working either, which is quite frustrating.
I’ve tried everything I can think of—rebooting the devices, checking the app for updates, even ensuring the bulbs are within range. But no luck so far. It’s strange because the rest of my setup works perfectly. I’m really hoping someone out there has encountered this before and can shed some light (pun intended) on how to resolve it.
In the meantime, I’m still enjoying the other features of these bulbs—they’re a joy to use, and I’d love to get this little hiccup sorted out. If anyone has any tips or insights, I’d be incredibly grateful! Thanks in advance for your help.
