Hey everyone, I wanted to share my experience setting up the Govee Pro Flow Bars with the camera. While I was initially frustrated with the color calibration issues, I managed to work through them and now have a fantastic setup for my home theater! ![]()

The Challenge:
I noticed that the colors were way off, especially during motion-heavy scenes on the TV. The RGBIC strips just didn’t match up with the on-screen colors, which was pretty distracting. After some research and trial and error, here’s what I figured out:
**My Solution:**1. Manual Calibration: I found that using the Govee app’s preset modes wasn’t cutting it. Instead, I manually adjusted the color temperature and saturation settings to match my TV’s settings. This required a bit of tweaking, but the results were worth it!2. Syncing with the TV: I set up a routine using my smart hub to adjust the lighting based on the time of day and the type of content I’m watching. For example, cooler tones for movies and warmer tones for gaming sessions. ![]()
3. Using Scenes: I created custom scenes for different moods—like a cozy reading mode with soft yellow lights and a vibrant party mode with pulsating colors. It’s amazing how much this has transformed my space! ![]()
Tips for Others:- If you’re having trouble with color calibration, try adjusting the white balance settings in the Govee app.- Experiment with different preset modes and see which ones work best with your TV’s color settings.- Don’t hesitate to reach out to the community for advice—if I can figure this out, so can you! ![]()
I’m really happy with how everything turned out, and I can’t recommend the Govee Pro Flow Bars enough for anyone looking to enhance their home entertainment setup. Here’s to many more movie nights and gaming sessions under these fantastic lights! ![]()
