Hey everyone! I wanted to share my recent experience with Govee smart lights and how I successfully set up an automation for my home. I purchased a few Govee smart bulbs during Prime Day, and I must say, they’ve been a fantastic addition to my smart home setup. 
I’ve been trying to get my automation right, especially for the evenings. I wanted my lights to turn on automatically when it gets dark, but I also wanted them to adjust based on my routine. After some trial and error, I managed to set up a sequence where the lights dim slightly when I’m watching TV and brighten up when I’m ready to leave the room. It’s been a game-changer for my evening routine! 
One thing I struggled with initially was getting the bulbs to work seamlessly with my existing smart home ecosystem. I discovered that using the right app and setting up the automation in two steps made all the difference. First, I set the bulbs to turn on when motion is detected, and then I added a secondary automation to adjust the brightness based on the time of day. It’s all about breaking it down into smaller steps!
