I recently got my hands on the Govee smart string lights for my patio, and I’m absolutely thrilled with how they’ve transformed my outdoor space! 
These lights are perfect for creating a warm and inviting ambiance, especially during gatherings or just relaxing in the evenings. The vibrant colors and smooth transitions are a huge hit, and the app control makes it so easy to set up custom scenes.
One thing I love is how well they integrate with my existing smart home ecosystem. I’ve paired them with my Amazon Echo for voice control and set up some fun routines usingIFTTT. For example, when I say, “Alexa, good evening,” the lights dim to a cozy orange hue, and when I say, “Alexa, party mode,” they switch to a lively rainbow cycle! 
I also wanted to share a quick tip for anyone looking to integrate their Govee lights with other devices. I found that using the IFTTT applet maker is a great way to create custom automations without needing any coding knowledge. For instance, I have my lights automatically turn on at sunset and dim when it gets dark outside.
The only thing I’d love to see improved is the range of the Bluetooth connection, but the included remote control solves that issue perfectly. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with my purchase, and I highly recommend these lights to anyone looking to upgrade their outdoor lighting setup.
