Govee Wall Sconces and Spotify Control Setup

I’ve recently had the pleasure of integrating Govee wall sconces into my home setup, and I must say, they’ve completely transformed my space. The angled design and bright LEDs ensure a perfect distribution of light, making them not just functional but also a stylish addition to my decor. Pairing them with my Govee Aura lamp has been a game-changer, allowing both to be controlled seamlessly through Alexa or Google Home. I’ve even linked them to my Harmony remote for added convenience, and I’m excited to incorporate more Govee immersion lights in the near future!

On another note, I’ve been experimenting with setting up Spotify controls using an ESP32 and ILI9341 touchscreen. It’s been a fantastic project, enabling me to control playback, adjust volume, and switch playlists directly from the screen. While there were a few hurdles along the way, such as ensuring the correct entity IDs and handling touch inputs, the end result has been worth every bit of effort. The integration with Home Assistant has been smooth, and I’m thrilled with how responsive the setup is. If anyone has questions or needs guidance on similar projects, feel free to reach out—I’d be happy to share more details!

Overall, these additions have significantly enhanced my smart home experience, blending aesthetics with functionality in a way that truly elevates everyday living. Cheers to innovation and the incredible community that makes it all possible!
