I recently stumbled upon a truly delightful feature in Govee’s packaging, and I just had to share it with the community. While setting up my Christmas tree lights, I noticed that the lights on the Govee boxes actually illuminated when hit by the room lights. It’s such a small detail, but it really sets Govee apart from other brands. Way to go, Govee! 
Speaking of lighting, I’ve been exploring how to integrate my Govee devices with other smart home systems. I successfully connected my Govee lights to Alexa, and it’s been a game-changer for my daily routines. For instance, I created a rule where my Govee lights dim to 30% during the night mode, providing just enough light without being too harsh. It’s perfect for those late-night trips to the bathroom!
Another thing I’ve been experimenting with is creating custom scenes using my Lutron Caseta lights. By setting up motion sensors in my bathroom, I can ensure the lights turn on at 100% during the day and dim to a softer glow at night. The integration with OpenHAB has been seamless, and I love how customizable everything is.
