Häfele Connect Mesh Integration Issue: Devices Not Showing Up After Backup Restore

Hello everyone,

I’m reaching out to the community for some guidance on an issue I’m encountering with the Häfele Connect Mesh integration in Home Assistant. I recently had to replace my CCU2 due to a lightning strike damaging the LAN port. I managed to create a backup of the old CCU2 and restore it onto the new one. However, I’m running into some unexpected issues when trying to integrate everything back into Home Assistant.

The Issue: After restoring the backup, none of the devices from the old CCU2 are showing up in the new CCU2. I attempted to relearn some of the devices, like the switches, but each time I try, I get a message saying the serial number wasn’t found. This is frustrating because I want to continue controlling my devices remotely via my smartphone.

What I’ve Tried: 1. I’ve successfully created and restored the backup from the old CCU2 to the new one. 2. I’ve tried relearning individual devices, but it doesn’t seem to work. 3. I’ve checked the serial numbers to ensure they match, but I’m not entirely sure how to verify them properly.

My Questions: - Has anyone else experienced similar issues after replacing their CCU2? - Are there specific steps I should follow to ensure the devices from the old CCU2 are recognized by the new one? - Is there a way to manually add or reconfigure the devices in the new CCU2 without losing the existing setup?

Possible Solutions I’ve Considered: - Reinstalling the Häfele Connect Mesh integration in Home Assistant. - Resetting the devices and relearning them from scratch. - Checking network settings to ensure everything is properly connected.

Looking for Positive Outcomes: I’m hopeful that with some troubleshooting and guidance from the community, I can get everything up and running smoothly again. It would be fantastic to have all my devices back online and fully integrated without any hiccups.

Any advice or experiences you’ve had with similar situations would be greatly appreciated! Let’s work together to resolve this.

Best regards,

johannes
