Halloween is just around the corner, and I’ve been diving into some awesome DIY projects to get my home ready for the spooky season!
One thing I’ve been really into is customizing my LED lights for the perfect Halloween ambiance. I came across a thread asking about LED lights that allow you to change each section, and it got me thinking about how to create that eerie, segmented lighting effect. I ended up using a combination of color gels and smart strips to achieve a haunted house look that’s both spooky and customizable! 
I also wanted to share a tip for anyone struggling with their Vera Edge devices. I saw a post where someone was having issues with their Vera station’s Wi-Fi connectivity. After some digging, I realized it might be related to network congestion from other smart devices. If you’re experiencing similar issues, try adjusting your router settings or creating a dedicated network for your smart home devices. It worked wonders for me! 
On a lighter note, I’ve been experimenting with creating automated scenes for movie nights. I set up a rule where turning on my ‘Watch Vero Movie’ scene dims the lights and switches on all my AV equipment. It’s such a seamless experience, and I love how it sets the mood for a great movie night!
