Halloween Lighting Setup and Smart Home Automation Tips

Halloween is just around the corner, and I’m excited to share my latest project: creating flickering candle effects using LED RGBW bulbs on my front porch! :jack_o_lantern: I’ve been experimenting with different settings and configurations to achieve that authentic candle-like flicker, and I’d love to hear if anyone has tips or tricks for this. I’ve also been exploring how to integrate this with my existing smart home setup for a fully automated spooky experience!

On a different note, I wanted to highlight how much I love Wyze cameras for outdoor use. Despite some connectivity hiccups, they’ve been reliable for monitoring my property. I’ve set up a simple rule where the camera feeds into my phone notifications, giving me peace of mind without constant surveillance. If anyone has similar experiences or solutions, I’d love to hear about them!

Another thing I’ve been working on is optimizing my kitchen lighting with Shelly devices. By using a combination of timers and smart switches, I’ve managed to reduce energy waste while maintaining convenience. For example, the lights now turn off automatically after 15 minutes of inactivity, but I can override this by holding the switch for a few seconds. It’s a small tweak, but it makes a big difference!

I’d also like to invite everyone to share their favorite Halloween decorations and smart home hacks. Whether it’s lighting effects, automated props, or clever security setups, I’m sure we can all learn something new from each other. Let’s make this Halloween the most tech-savvy one yet! :ghost::sparkles:

Lastly, a quick shoutout to the Govee community for their amazing lighting solutions. Their products have been a game-changer for my home, and I can’t wait to see what they come up with next! If anyone has any Govee-related questions or tips, feel free to drop them here. Happy Halloween everyone! :jack_o_lantern:
