This year’s Halloween decorations were a blast to set up! 
I’ve always loved creating a spooky vibe around the house, and this year, I decided to take it up a notch with some smart lighting solutions.
I started by planning out where to place the lights—both indoors and outdoors. For the front porch, I went with some battery-powered string lights that change colors, adding a festive glow. Inside, I used my existing smart bulbs to create a eerie ambiance in the living room. The kids loved it!

One tip I’d love to share is using schedules in the SmartThings app to automate the lights. Now, they turn on and off at specific times, saving me the hassle of manual adjustments. Plus, it adds a fun surprise element for trick-or-treaters!
