Hey everyone! I’ve been trying to set up a smart app for my hallway lights, and I’m curious if anyone has a solution. The idea is simple: when I enter the house with my phone (using a presence sensor), the hallway lights should turn on automatically and then switch off after one minute. It sounds straightforward, but I’m not sure how to implement it. Any tips or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
On another note, I’ve been using the Wyze app on Android, and I’ve noticed some UI issues. Every time I open the app, the UI jumps around because it adds a bunch of new features and shortcuts at the top. This makes it really hard to tap on my cameras or groups without accidentally triggering something else. I’d love to have the ability to customize the UI or at least have more screen real estate to view my cameras. Has anyone else experienced this, and do you have any workarounds?
Lastly, I’ve been experimenting with automations and came across a neat feature. I wanted to include a device value in a message, like the temperature reading when a sensor exceeds a certain threshold. I know this is possible with Webcore, but I’d prefer to use standard automations. Does anyone know if this is achievable and how to set it up?
Thanks in advance for your help and insights! It’s always great to learn from the community.
