I recently purchased a Hank One-Key scene controller and have been trying to integrate it into my SmartThings setup. While the device successfully connects to my SmartThings hub and appears as a Z-Wave device, I’m encountering issues when attempting to control lights and power plugs using the controller.
I’ve configured the controller through the ‘Smart Lighting’ SmartApp, but it seems I can’t select the controller’s buttons as triggers—only switches are available. This limitation is frustrating, especially since I can control the same devices through voice commands or the SmartThings app without any issues.
I’ve paired the controller as a non-secure device and conducted a Z-Wave network range test, which showed good results. Despite this, the controller still doesn’t function as expected. I’m wondering if there’s a specific setting or workaround that could resolve this issue.
Has anyone else had success integrating the Hank One-Key scene controller with SmartThings? Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
