I recently purchased a brand new Harmony Hub and successfully integrated it into my OpenHAB setup. Initially, everything seemed to work perfectly—the hub was detected automatically, and I could control my devices seamlessly. However, I’ve encountered an issue where the Harmony Hub Bridge frequently switches between ONLINE and OFFLINE states. This inconsistency is disrupting my smart home automation experience, and I’m eager to resolve it.
The hub is running firmware version 4.15.264, and I’m using OpenHAB version 2.5.3. My network connection is stable, and the hub’s LED remains green, indicating normal operation. Interestingly, the issue doesn’t affect my ability to use the remote control, which works without interruptions. I’ve reviewed the logs and didn’t find any significant errors or warnings, which makes the problem more puzzling.
I’ve tried several troubleshooting steps, including resetting the hub, checking network settings, and ensuring that XMPP is properly configured. Despite these efforts, the issue persists. I’m curious if others have experienced similar problems and if there are known solutions or workarounds.
If anyone has insights or suggestions on how to stabilize the connection, I’d greatly appreciate your input. Let’s collaborate to find a solution and keep the harmony in our smart homes intact! ![]()
