Heating System Automation Issue with ECO Heating Ultimate

Hi everyone, I hope you’re all doing well! I wanted to share a scenario I’m experiencing with my heating system automation setup. I’m using ECO Heating Ultimate 1.1 alongside Better Thermostat 1.3.0, paired with a Eurotronic Spirit thermostat and an Aqara window sensor. The system has been running smoothly, checking every 5 minutes and adjusting the temperature as needed. When I open a window, the thermostat drops the heat to 8°C, and when I close it after 6 minutes, it returns to the programmed setting. Perfect so far!

However, I’ve noticed an issue when the window remains open for extended periods, say 30 minutes or more. When I close the window, the thermostat doesn’t automatically revert to the desired temperature. Instead, it stays at 8°C, and the dashboard remains gray. The only way to fix this is by manually pressing the heat symbol, which then brings everything back to normal. I’ve tried waiting for up to 15 minutes, but it doesn’t resolve on its own. I assumed ECO Heating Ultimate would handle this since it checks every 5 minutes, but it seems like there’s a gap in this specific scenario.

I’m curious if anyone else has encountered this and if there’s a solution or workaround. It would be great to find a way to ensure the system reliably resets after a long window opening without manual intervention. Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for your help.
