Help connect my Fp2 to M3 hub instead of Apple Home

I have a FP2 i wanted to connect to my Apple home. I am able to connect it, but it doesnt work very well, the trouble started after i put my Apple Home onto a different IOT wifi.

Now I bought a M3 hub to fix the problem, but the problem is the FP2 only want to connect to my Apple Home, and not my M3. How can i get the FP2 to connect to the M3 hub?

…Is ths how matter/thread suppose to piss people off? This is the worst, matter suppose to make thing better, when reality is turned up side down…

Hello @ray114
FP2 sensor it works via wifi and you don’t need a hub to connect it. If you want to add it to Aqara home without adding it to Homekit you need to do it from android. Or add it via iphone to HK and aqara home and then delete it from Homekit.

So what you say is that it was a mistake to buy the M3 hub, instead I should have used my money on an cheap android phone?
Amazing tech…

no, I wanted to say that to add a wifi device such as the FP2 presence sensor, you don’t need a hub. The aqara hub is needed to add Zigbee devices and matter devices. You didn’t buy the M3 hub in vain, it has excellent functionality and is currently the best hub from Aqara on the market.
