Hi, Just setting up my new Aqara G410. I’ve updated the firmware and linked the camera to my iphone Home app. I’ve also inserted a 512GB memory card in the doorbell accessory. Is there some way to verify that the card has been recognized by the doorbell camera? The answers to my questions on Google all seem to relate to older versions of the software/hardware. When I’m in the window in the Aqara app that shows video window and the Control Panel, and I click on the three dots in the upper right hand corner, I get window that includes the option “Device Card”. The window is titled Edit Device Card. I expected to see the card that’s in the chime accessory, but it’s not there. I gave the card a unique name which I can’t find anywhere in either the Aqara App or the Home app. How do I know that the G410 has recognized the card? Another question . . . when I go to Playback in the Aqara app am I seeing the video that’s been stored on the card or in the cloud. Same question for the video in the Home App - is that on the card or in the cloud? THANKS FOR YOUR HELP AND HAPPY NEW YEAR.
Hello, welcome to the forum, happy new year!
At the bottom, right after the “write to cloud” setting, there should be “local storage”. This is located right when you click “…” , you don’t need to go to the sub-item.
Thanks for your reply. I’m still stumped. So many things to click on! Some info about my setup. I’m on a Mac and I’ve linked the G410 to my Home App. At the moment I don’t have a subscription to the HomeGuardian Service. I was assuming that backup to the “cloud” meant my Apple iCloud account. Or, is the “cloud” the Aqara cloud that’s only available with the subscription? I can’t seem to find the “write to cloud” setting - is that because I don’t have a subscription yet? Regarding the 512 GB card I’ve inserted into the chime accessory - is there some place in the app that will tell me that the card has been recognized and is in use? Thanks in advance for your help.
