I’m diving into the world of smart home automation and have a mix of devices from various brands. I’ve been using Hive smart plugs for a while now, and I’m curious if they can serve a dual purpose as Zigbee extenders. I’ve heard that Zigbee networks can sometimes be tricky, especially when it comes to coverage and reliability. My main goal is to improve my presence sensing setup, so any insights or experiences would be super helpful! 
On another note, I’ve been experimenting with Home Assistant and have a mini PC running Ubuntu. I’m trying to play local MP3 files through the onboard soundcard, but I’m hitting a wall. I can play the files via the shell, but getting them to play through Home Assistant has been a puzzle. Any tips or tricks for configuring this correctly would be greatly appreciated! 
Lastly, I’ve been eyeing the Vision Keyfob 1101 for its reliability and battery life. It’s a fantastic device, but I’m struggling to get it recognized properly in my setup. I’d love to see a dedicated driver for it, as it’s such a versatile tool. If anyone has managed to integrate this device or has any workarounds, I’d love to hear about it!
