Homdroid Synchronization Issues and Possible Solutions

Hey everyone, I’m new to the world of home automation and I’ve been trying to get Homdroid up and running with my CCU2 system. So far, the experience has been mostly positive, but I’ve hit a snag that I can’t seem to resolve on my own. I thought I’d share my journey here in case anyone else has encountered similar issues or might have some advice to offer.

I recently added a couple of new components to my setup—a radiator valve and a switch actuator. Unfortunately, Homdroid isn’t detecting these new additions, no matter how many times I restart the CCU or try to synchronize. It’s frustrating because everything else seems to be working perfectly. I even tried removing and re-adding one of the existing connections to see if that would help, but Homdroid still stubbornly shows the old setup. The switch actuator, at least, is still functional through Homdroid, but it’s not ideal.

I’m wondering if there’s a step I’m missing or a common pitfall that newbies like myself often fall into. Could it be a configuration issue on my CCU? Or maybe there’s a specific setting within Homdroid that needs tweaking? I’ve scoured the forums and documentation, but nothing seems to address this exact problem. Any insights or suggestions would be incredibly helpful!

On a more positive note, I’ve been really impressed with how smooth the rest of the system runs. The ability to control everything from my tablet is a huge convenience, and I’m excited to continue expanding my setup once I get past this hurdle. Thanks in advance to anyone who can shed some light on this mystery!
