All of my Aqara motion sensors work on Homekit except for one. Original motion sensor. It stopped showing up on Homekit, but is still registering in the Aqara app and on other apps like Eve, Homekit+, etc. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Didn’t work.
What does Original motion sensor mean? You can try to remove it in Aqara Home and re-add it. If it still doesn’t work, you can check [Automation] in HomeKit to see if there is this product
@iraflatow I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with your Aqara motion sensor not showing up in HomeKit. While the reference information doesn’t specifically address HomeKit sync issues, here are some general checks you can try based on common troubleshooting steps for Aqara motion sensors:
First, verify if the sensor is communicating properly with the Aqara Hub. You can click the reset button of the motion sensor—if the Aqara Hub makes a voice prompt “Normal link confirmed,” it indicates the hub and sensor are communicating properly . If there’s no prompt, moving the sensor closer to the hub or replacing the battery might help.
Since the sensor works in the Aqara app and other apps, the issue may be related to HomeKit’s device recognition. You could try removing the sensor from the Aqara app and re-adding it, then checking if it reappears in HomeKit. If that doesn’t work, the Aqara customer service team might be able to provide more specific guidance for HomeKit integration.
If you’d like further assistance, feel free to share more details (like the sensor model) here—other community members might have encountered similar issues.
