Hello everyone, I’m thrilled to share my recent experience with Homematic IP automation. As a new user, I wanted to create a seamless lighting system that adapts to my daily routine. Initially, I faced challenges with configuring the HMIP-BS2 switch to control both my ceiling lights and a plug-in lamp simultaneously. After some research and trial and error, I discovered that using the Homematic Access Point allowed me to set up a timer that switches the lights on at sunset and off at bedtime. This setup not only enhances my living experience but also contributes to energy efficiency. I’m excited to explore more possibilities with my Homematic devices and grateful for the supportive community that helped me along the way!
