Hi everyone, I recently installed the Homematic IP Türschlossantrieb HmIP-DLD on my CCU 3 system, and I wanted to share my experience and some tips I’ve gathered along the way. The installation process was straightforward, and I’m using it with two HmIP Schlüsselfernbedienungen, which work perfectly so far. However, I encountered a small issue with the door opening mechanism that I thought might be helpful to discuss here.
The problem I faced was with the door opening duration. Our new door doesn’t spring open immediately when the latch is retracted, so we need to press the open button on the key fob while gently pushing the door. By default, the opening duration is only about 1 second, which isn’t enough for our needs. I’d love to set it to 3 seconds or longer to make it easier to open the door while carrying groceries or other items. Does anyone know if there’s a way to adjust this setting within the Homematic IP system? I’d also appreciate any alternative solutions or workarounds that others might have found.
On a positive note, the integration with the CCU 3 has been seamless, and the responsiveness of the system is impressive. The key fobs are reliable, and the whole setup adds a nice touch of convenience to our daily routine.
