Hi everyone, I’m facing an issue with my Homematic setup after restarting OpenHAB. All my window and door contacts show as ‘unknown’ upon startup, which is quite concerning. I’ve been trying to figure out how to refresh the statuses manually to update OpenHAB, but I’m not quite sure how to go about it.
I’ve read through some forums and documentation, but nothing seems to click for me. I’m running OpenHAB 2.2 on a Raspberry Pi 3 alongside a separate Raspberry Pi for RaspiMatic. The connection between them works fine otherwise, but this ‘unknown’ status issue is persistent.
I understand that a refresh might be necessary, but I’m not exactly sure how to execute it across all contact sensors. Any advice or step-by-step guidance would be incredibly helpful. I’m hoping to find a solution that doesn’t involve constantly restarting devices or manually resetting each sensor.
If anyone has dealt with this before or knows a reliable method to refresh all contact sensor data in OpenHAB, I’d greatly appreciate your input. Thanks in advance for your help!
