Hey everyone, I’m running into an issue with my new Z-Wave dimmers and I could really use some advice. I just set up a new Z-Wave network on Home Assistant (version 2.5.9-1) and all my on/off switches are working perfectly. However, my Honeywell Z-Wave dimmers (model ZW3010) aren’t being recognized properly. When I try to initialize them, I get this warning:
2020-10-01 12:08:37.992 [WARN ] [wave.discovery.ZWaveDiscoveryService] - NODE 9: Device discovery could not resolve to a thingType! 0039:4944:3235::5.54
I checked the OpenSmartHouse Z-Wave Device Database and found the device listed here: Honeywell ZW3010. It seems like these newer models might be running older firmware. I tried re-initializing them multiple times without any luck. Does anyone have experience with this issue?
I also noticed that the dimmers were purchased from Amazon and might not have the latest firmware. Is there a way to update the firmware on these devices? Any tips or workarounds would be greatly appreciated! I’m really hoping to get these dimmers working smoothly with my setup. Thanks in advance for your help!
