How to activate light on motion in night only

How to configure that the light on the camera only activates on motion and only in the night?

I only found an option in Apple Home, that it reponds on motion, but even when set to “off” after one minute, it often stays on. Also no option for darkness detection.

Where are these settings in the Aqara app?

Since you referenced Apple Home I’m assuming this is where you want to build your automation. When you create the automation with motion as a trigger, you’ll see a condition at the bottom for Time. Choose "At Night.’

Correct - there’s no light sensor exposed.

Is it only possible in Apple Homekit or would it also be possible in the Aqara app?

Yes you can do this in Aqara’s app.

Once you add the condition to IF portion of the automation, click on “Acting Time” on the right. Then you can select the window of time you want.

Hello, in automation 2.0 you will be able to configure the system even more flexibly in relation to sunset/sunrise. Release 2.0 will be coming soon.
