Hey everyone, I’m trying to figure out how to set up Alexa so I can control my devices with a delay or schedule. Specifically, I have a group of smart blinds called ‘Alle Rollläden’ that I control through both Home Assistant and Alexa. Right now, I can open or close them instantly with voice commands, but I want to be able to say something like, ‘Alexa, close all the blinds at 8 PM’ or ‘Alexa, close all the blinds in an hour.’
I’ve tried phrasing it differently, like ‘Alexa, in an hour, close all the blinds,’ but nothing happens. It just doesn’t seem to recognize the schedule part of the command. I’m wondering if there’s a specific way to structure the command or if I need to set up some kind of routine in the Alexa app to make this work.
Does anyone have experience with scheduling device control through Alexa? Any tips or workarounds would be super helpful. I’d love to automate more of my home setup, and this feature would really complete it for me. Thanks in advance for your help!
