I’ve been trying to figure out how to set up my smart lighting system to turn on only when it’s dark and motion is detected. It sounds simple, but I’m not quite sure where to start. I’ve heard that the Aeotec Multisensor 6 can detect both motion and ambient light, but I’m not sure how to tie that into my existing setup. I’ve tried a few different rules in my smart home app, but they either don’t work as expected or I end up with lights turning on when it’s still light outside.
