I recently upgraded my Arlo app to the latest version, and I’m trying to figure out how to temporarily pause a specific camera without putting all my cameras on standby. Let me share my experience and see if anyone has a solution or workaround.
I have a setup where I have multiple cameras monitoring different areas of my property. For instance, when I’m mowing the lawn in the backyard, I want the front cameras to stay active but the backyard camera to be temporarily paused. The issue is that the app doesn’t seem to have an option to pause a single camera without affecting the entire system.
I’ve tried going through the settings multiple times, but I can’t find a way to pause just one camera. The only option I see is to put all cameras into standby mode, which isn’t ideal because it disables monitoring for the entire property. I don’t want unnecessary alerts about my lawn work, but I also don’t want to compromise the security of my home.
Has anyone else encountered this issue? I’d love to hear if there’s a feature I’m missing or a workaround that allows for selective pausing of cameras. I’m really hoping there’s a solution out there because this would make managing my cameras much more efficient.
If anyone has any tips or suggestions, please share them! I’m all ears and would appreciate any help. Thanks in advance for your support!
