- Factory Reset: If the camera isn’t responding, a factory reset might help. Hold the reset button for about 10 seconds until the LED starts blinking. Then, follow the setup process again in the Wyze app.
- Firmware Update: Outdated firmware can cause all sorts of problems. Go to the Wyze app, navigate to your camera settings, and check for updates. If an update is available, install it and restart the camera.
Another issue I’ve come across is the camera not recording events when the internet is down. From what I understand, Wyze cameras still record locally on the microSD card even without an internet connection, but accessing those recordings can be tricky.
