How to use a Chinese Aqara Z1 switch in Europe

In order to pair with the Aqara app, I have to switch my account location to China Mainland, however, once my European M100 hub won’t connect with a China based Aqara app (here)

So, is there some other way I can use it somehow?

Just to clarify: If your main goal is simply to keep the smart bulb on, you don’t strictly need the full “MARS-Tech”.

The standard “Decouple Mode” is designed exactly for that purpose (it separates the button from the relay, so the power stays on). MARS is basically just Decouple Mode plus an extra direct connection/sync.

So, would the standard Decouple Mode be sufficient for your use case?

Right now I have a plain wall switch with a Shelly in detach mode

I wanted to try out the Mars mode and maybe replace the above with just the Z1
