I’m really excited about the integration between Google and Nest, especially now that my Google account is linked to my Nest setup. I’ve been using Nest thermostats for a while now, and I love how they help me manage my home’s temperature efficiently. However, I’ve come across a small issue that I’m hoping the community can help me with.
While I can control my Nest thermostats through the Nest app and even via Google Home on my phone, I’ve noticed that when I try to access them through the web interface at home.google.com, they don’t show up. This is a bit frustrating because I’d love to have a consolidated view of all my smart home devices in one place, especially when I’m using my desktop computer.
I’ve tried a few things to troubleshoot this. First, I made sure that all my Nest thermostats are properly linked to my Google account. I also checked the settings within the Google Home app to ensure that the thermostats are shared and visible across all devices. Everything seems to be in order there. I’ve also reviewed the Nest support documentation, but it doesn’t seem to address this specific issue.
I remember reading that Google supports viewing Nest cameras through the web interface, so I’m hopeful that thermostats might just be a matter of time or a specific configuration step. Maybe there’s a setting I’m missing or a feature that’s not widely known yet.
If anyone has found a workaround or a solution for this, I’d be really grateful for the insight. I’m also curious if others are experiencing the same thing or if it’s just me. Let’s hope we can figure this out together!
Looking forward to hearing from you all!
